Sudden skin necrosis over bilateral scapula regions revealing giant cell arteritis
Résumé
Giant cell arteritis (GCA) is a frequent autoimmune disease among elderly patients, but the diagnosis may be challenging [1]. However, the diagnosis is an emergency because of the GCA’s potential severe complications: blindness or strokes [2,3]. We would like to draw the reader’s attention on an atypical presentation of this vasculitis.
