DETERMINATING FACTORS OF MANAGERIAL SPEECHES : APPLICATION TO QUALITY MANAGER

Résumé

Our societies and companies are confronted to a strong development of socio-technical standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14000 etc… These standards arise from essentially engineers reflection. They are mostly applied by people in charge of quality who have a scientific or technical training. Nevertheless, we find for some standards, particularly ISO 9001, people in charge of quality having another initial training. This is possible because ISO 9001 organizes the documentary circulation within the organization and does not require particular scientific knowledge. This asks the following question: what is the application by these people in charge of quality of a standard built by engineers and in industry branches ? Is the organizational control based on this standard identical whatever is the initial training of the people in charge of quality? The representation of the standard which they pass on is it the same? Is the type of spread control the same? This question raises different problems among which two main are:-the choice of the theoretical approach to answer the question of the representation passed on by the people in charge of quality-the choice of the methodology to be retained to be able to answer the issue We found two groups of theories to answer our first question: - those who present the speech as depending on the actor who pronounces it and of his previous experiences - those who insist on the standardizing effect of certain extra-personal factors on the speeches. These two theoretical approaches allowed us to enlighten the semantic analysis of the speech of the various people in charge of quality. In the end, it seems that, if there is a distinction between the speeches of people in charge of quality with a scientific origin and those with not a scientific origin, the other factors intervene to constitute a speech which remains largely very specific to each.
