Capture and detection of SO 2 using a chemically stable Mg( ii )–MOF

Résumé

Mg 2 (dobpdc) was confirmed to be an optimal adsorbent for SO 2 capture showing high uptake and chemical stability to dry and humid SO 2 . Advanced molecular simulations have been coupled to determine the molecular mechanisms responsible for high SO 2 adsorption.
