Résumé

Titanium dioxide is a photocatalyst widely used in various applications such as optics industry, dielectric applications, dyes, aeronautics, solar cells and self-cleaning devices. One attractive approach involving titania is the direct coupling of separation and photocatalytic degradation by using titania-based porous films for water treatment devices. Such approach involving multifunctional titania layers can also be envisaged for other applications and in particular for H2 production from solar light by water splitting, which is precisely the scope of this study. This work aims at developing innovating photoelectro- catalytic systems for H2 production presenting an integrated multilayered geometry and involving materials synthesized by plasma processes.
